Thing 9: Document Sharing in the Cloud

Question 1: How might you use Google Docs as an alternative to the standard document creation tools on Microsoft Office?
Answer: Once you have the email address(s) of everyone you are working with, you can access or share your documents from anywhere or any computer.

Question 2: What drawbacks did you notice in Google Docs, if any?
Answer: You must write the correct email address at all times to be able to get a document to the correct individual. The Microsoft Office gives you the correct email address once you send a document ones.

Question 3. Describe your experience of collaborating on a single document with multiple users.
Answer: If you do not get one email address correctly you will not be able to send document to others.

Answer: I went to New York Times RSS page as well as others.

RSS does the work for me

Question 2. What do you like about RSS and Newreaders?

  • For my Mission In reach Service, it puts all the International News Media that I track in one place.
  • It updates me on every news I track.
  • It saves me time rather than go from one web site to the other.

Question 3. How can you use RSS to take advantage of this technology?

  • By subscribing to what I'm interested in.
