The Online Book Page is founded and edited by John Mark Ockerbloom, a digital library planner of the University of Pennsylvania and the site is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania libraries. It has over 900,000 works in various format, it is a collaborative work and books listed must meet certain criteria. All books are free for personal and noncommercial use. You can browse by author, title, subject and ISBN.
- Free eBooks by Project Gutenberg: It has over 33,000 ebooks you can read via your PC, Kindle, iPad or via other readers. No fee is required for registration but you may be required to donate a small amount of money if you find Project Gutenberg useful so that more books can be digitalized. In the United States, Project Gutenberg books are free of charge and free of freedom because the copyright has expired but in other countries, users must check the copyright law before downloading and distributing.
- Open Culture: This is a free high quality cultural and educational media put together in one place to be retrieved easily. Dan Coleman of Standford University is the lead editor but the site is not formally associated with Standford University.
Answer (2) I have Worldcat on my Facebook page. On Worldcat Facebook, I clicked on "Go to app", I signed in with my facebook details and gave a permission. It was then loaded on my facebook page. It is very useful to me because it a network of libraries and library contents.
